Ronald R. Frederick, age 71, of Hancock, died Thursday, July 28, 2011 at his home.

Born, November 26, 1939, in McKeesport, Pa., he was the son of the late Joseph and Ruth Day Frederick.

He was a 1957 graduate of McKeesport High School.

He was warehouse manager for Joyce Leslie Company, in New Jersey.

He was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Hancock, Md.

He is survived by his wife, Victoria E. Schetrompf Frederick, whom he married October 26, 1974, in Hancock, Md; one daughter, Tammy Lalena, of Pine Hill, N.J.; three sons, Lanny Frederick, of Sicklerville, N.J., Danny Frederick, of Seewell, N.J., Bryan Frederick, of E. Brunswick, N.J.; one sister, Vonne Szeg, of Irwin, Pa.; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Lee Frederick.

A service will be held Monday, August 1, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 2 E. High Street, Hancock, Md. Rev. F. Allan Weatherholt, Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in the Damascus Cemetery, Big Cove Tannery, Pa.

The family will receive friends Monday, at the Church, from 9 to 11 a.m.
