Sandra Jane Leedy, age 60, of Needmore, died Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at ManorCare Health Services, in Chambersburg, Pa.

Born October 21, 1951, in McConnellsburg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Lee and Lena Crouse Richards, and the widow of Harry R. Leedy, Sr., whom she married on November 14, 1970 in Needmore, and who died April 26, 2002.

She had previously been employed as a CNA at Homewood in Williamsport, Md.

She was a member of the Needmore Full Gospel Church.

She is survived by one son, Harry R. Leedy, Jr., of Needmore; brothers, Robert Richards, of McConnellsburg, Pa., David Richards, of Needmore, and John Richards, of Austin, Tx.; sisters, Nancy Lewis, of Warfordsburg, Pa., Brenda Waugh, of Needmore, and Alice VanGosen, of Needmore.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2012, at the Needmore Full Gospel Church, in Needmore, Pa. Rev. John Lewis will officiate. Burial will be in the Antioch Christian Cemetery, in Big Cove Tannery, Pa.

The family will receive friends at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md., on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., and at the Church on Saturday, from 10 to 11 a.m.
