Sandra Munson

Sandra Lee Munson, 56, of Fayetteville, NC., formerly of Warfordsburg, PA., passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022, at Cape Fear Valley Hospital, in Fayetteville NC.

Born April 9th, 1965, in McConnellsburg, PA., she was the daughter of Catherine (Weller) Durst, and the widow of James W. Munson, who passed away in 2009.

She graduated from Southern Fulton High School in 1983.

She enjoyed beach vacations, playing bingo and taking bus trips.

Sandy is survived by two daughters, Kayla Munson of Warfordsburg, PA, and Courtney Harding, and spouse Tyler, of Fayetteville, NC.; one grandchild, Kaysen Munson; one sister, Cathy Hoopengardner, and husband Robert; two nephews, Benjamin Hoopengardner, wife Susie, and their two children Laila and Nicholas, and Noah Hoopengardner at home.

Sandy's body was donated to science in the hopes of finding a cure for juvenile diabetes and advances in cardiac disease.
