Shelbi Maire Dulaney, age 18, of Hancock, died on Friday, November 21, 2014, at the Berkeley Medical Center, in Martinsburg, W.Va.

Born April 20, 1996, in Hagerstown, Md., she was the daughter of Lauren Renee Jackson, of Rock Hill, S.C., and the late John Matt Dulaney, Sr.

She loved to watch Lifetime movies; Sons of Anarchy; Walking Dead; American Horror Stories; eating Doritos; and drinking Dr. Pepper.  She also loved to spend time with friends and family, especially the babies. Family was very special to Shelbi.

She was a 2014 graduate of Hancock High School.

She was a member of Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church.

Besides her mother, she is survived by her grandparents, Charles and Jean Bishop, of Hancock, Frances and Stanley Peters, of Lusby, Md., Robert and Kathy Guy, of Leonardtown, Md., and Teddy Dulaney, of Florida; great-grandparents, Jessie Gallion, of Hancock, and James Guy, of California, Md.; brothers, John Matt Dulaney, Jr., of Rock Hill, S.C., Quenton Bishop, of Leonardtown, Md., and Jonathan Dulaney, of Pa.; sisters, Ashley Dulaney, of Needmore, Pa., Izetta Parker and Aamani Parker, both of Maugansville, Md.; many uncles; aunts; and cousins.

Besides her father, she was also preceded in death by great-grandparents, George and Elizabeth Davis; and a great-grandmother, Joan Guy.

A service will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at 11:00 a.m., at the Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church, 14253 Exline Road, Hancock. Rev. Philip Unger will officiate. Burial will follow in the adjoining Church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md., on Tuesday, from 3 to 8 p.m., and at the Church on Wednesday, from 10 to 11 a.m.
