Shirley Ann Golden, age 77, of Hancock, Maryland, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025.
Shirley had enjoyed the last day of her life at home in the warm sun which she loved until her tragic fall.
Born Wednesday, August 27, 1947, in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Clyde W. Stotler Sr. and Margaret Vanorsdale.
Shirley was a graduate of Hancock Middle Senior High School, Class of 1965. She was a homemaker and worked as a cheerleading advisor and school nurse.
She loved to travel and especially enjoyed the beach.
Shirley is survived by her loving husband of fifty-nine years, Maple C. Golden of Hancock, Md.; daughter Tabatha M. McFadden of Hancock, Md.; son Terrance M. Golden and wife Elizabeth of Hancock Md.; grandchildren Ashley Glessner and husband Matthew of Falling Waters, Wv., Brandon McFadden of Hancock, Md., Joshua Golden and wife Sage of Hancock, Md., Laura Golden of Hancock, Md.; great-grandson Isaiah Glessner of Falling Waters, Wv.; sister Deborah Shives and husband Christopher of Warfordsburg, Pa.; brother Clyde Stotler Jr. and wife Judy of Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents.
Interment will be held when husband and wife are again united as one for eternity.
