Thomas Leon Donahue, III, age 54, of Hancock, died on Monday, September 28, 2015 at his home.
Born in Baltimore, Md., he was the son of Julie Campbell Donahue, of Baltimore, and the late Thomas Leon Donahue, II.
He was a member of St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church, in Hancock.
He was a 1979 graduate of Hancock High School.
He was employed as a welder for ISCO Pipe Industries, in Martinsburg, W.Va., and he previously served in the U.S. Air Force.
He was a member of the Webster B. Harrison Post 26 American Legion, in Hancock.
Besides his mother, he is survived by three daughters, Lindsay Donahue, Emily Donahue, and Danielle Donahue, all of Hancock; two sons, Leonard Donahue, of Warfordsburg, Pa., and Troy Donahue, of Crystal Spring, Pa.; two sisters, Christine Donahue, and Teri Shapelle, both of Baltimore; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Leon Donahue, IV; one daughter, Candice Bailey; and brothers, William “Bill” Donahue, and Charles “Chuck” Donahue.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church, 2 East High Street, Hancock. Rev. F. Allan Weatherholt will officiate. Burial, with military honors, will be in the Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery, Flintstone, Md.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 2 until 4 p.m., and 6 until 8 p.m., at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock.
