Violet Wilt

Needmore, Pennsylvania

Violet Marie Wilt, age 77, of Needmore, died Thursday, November 20, 2013 at her home.

Born June 23, 1936, in Bantam, Oh., she was the only daughter of the late Hazel Bowers Miller and Clarence Harry Miller, Sr.

She was a member of the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob, Hancock, Md.

She is survived by six children; Mahalia M. Hess, of Needmore, Clifford M. Wilt, Jr. (Alice), of St. Thomas, Pa., Druscilla Coffman (Jonathan), of Greencastle, Pa., Caleb Wilt (Dianna), Angelena Coffman (Kevin), Mark K. Wilt (Sharon); one brother, Clarence Harry Miller, Jr., of Hancock; twenty-three grandchildren; and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Justin L. Wilt, and Sheba Dianna Wilt.

A service was held Saturday, November 23, at 1:00 p.m., at the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob Church, Hancock, Md. Advance Presiding Elder Mark Faith officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Arrangements were handled by the Grove Funeral Home, Hancock, Md.
