Payment Policy

Grove-Rogowski Funeral Home, PA is a small business like many others in our community. Of necessity, we operate on a cash basis, being totally dependent upon the families we serve for prompt payment. We do not have the financial resources to extend credit over a period of months or years. We ask for your cooperation in our payment policy so that we can continue providing our families the quality service to which they are entitled.

Payment in full is expected at the time arrangements are finalized.

The day of the funeral is a sacred time for families. Our experience suggests it is in the best interest of all parties to settle the financial arrangements prior to the funeral. This is the policy of our funeral home, and we ask for your complete cooperation. To avoid any possibility of misunderstanding or embarrassment, and for your convenience, we accept the following methods of payment:

- Cash or check

- Visa or MasterCard (3% fee on all cash advances when paid with a credit card)

- A Current Life Insurance Assignment (3% fee on contracts)

All policies will be verified by Grove-Rogowski Funeral Home, PA and the responsible parties will be asked to complete and sign an irrevocable assignment prior to services being scheduled. (Prior approval required, generally same day approval, unless weekend or holiday.)

- Pre-arrangement funding

- Advance payment by forwarding or receiving funeral home


If your family has no insurance, or limited insurance, payment of 100% of total cost of funeral is due at the time of the funeral.  Interest at a rate of 18% annum (1.5% monthly) may be charged to accounts with balances over 30 days.

Social Security, Veteran's Allowance, Union Benefits, Estates, etc. are anticipated funds that are neither immediate nor assured credits/or funeral expenses. As a courtesy and additional service, funeral home staff will assist families with claims and filing.

A $50 fee will be charged for returned checks.
